Submissions
WE ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED TO SUBMISSIONS
Diversity Statement
CORRIDOR believes in promoting a range of storytelling from creators of diverse backgrounds. We encourage submissions from creators traditionally underrepresented in horror and pieces that reflect these varying perspectives.
Procedures
-
All prose submissions should follow proper manuscript format.
-
Submissions should be emailed to corridor.publications@gmail.com. Please attach all submissions in PDF format.
-
Include your bio in your cover letter.
-
Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please inform us if your story is accepted elsewhere. We do not accept unsolicited reprints (defined as essays, articles, stories, or comics that have already appeared anywhere online or in any other published form).
Voice
-
CORRIDOR tells stories that entertain, while simultaneously expressing a dissatisfaction with and an uncertainty about reality.
-
CORRIDOR invokes radical strangeness by creating worlds and places that look familiar, but operate on their own terms, subverting natural laws without taking humanity into account.
-
The unreal in CORRIDOR’s stories seeks to provide psychological mysteries with which to dissect our own reality—helping readers purge, cope with or work through our collective fears and anxieties.
-
We want it dark, transgressive and weird, but will never accept racist, sexist, homophobic or transphobic content.
